Hope Rising from the Dust
The encouraging word from people on the ground in Haiti is that the people of Haiti are begining to rebuild their shattered lives. Markets are begining to reappear on street corners which just proves the Haiti proverb “Where there are two or more women, there is a market.”
Haiti has a long way to go but the people are beginning to take the first fragile steps toward renewal. I hope and pray that the work we do over the next few weeks will help restore life into Haiti and over the long term Haitians will be better off.
