Day 4

Things have settled into a routine too much time buying parts at the plumbing store, too much time waiting for a key to access the storage depot, too much time waiting on someone who is waiting on someone, but at the end of the day… progress.  We got the roof tanks up on the roof and the plumbing connected.  We will hurricane proof them tomorrow by building a small block wall around them.  We got valves and lines installed for the toilets showers, and sinks.  We will not be able to install any of the fixtures until they finish the floor and build the concrete cabinets and countertops.

We made the decision tonight to purchase paint and begin painting the bedrooms.  It is surprising how light the rooms are in the daytime with only daylightr through the windows.  When the walls are painted creme and the ceilings white it should brighten everything even more.

The nurses were busy with an overflow crowd.  Among the patients treated were Gima who had badly infected glands in his neck and Evich who managed to drive a nail into his thumb.  Both were treated and released but both report to Doctor Dave twice  day for their medications.
